Tailscale 2023 - present

I am a Member of Technical Staff on Tailscale's Security team. We are responsible broadly for the infrastructure security, application security, and compliance programs at Tailscale. We also collaborate with product developers on the secure implementation of features in the Tailscale product.

Oso 2021 - 2023

As an engineer at an early stage startup I wore many hats. In addition to product engineering responsibilities I was Oso’s lead engineer for the Security, Privacy and Compliance, and Billing programs.

Intercom - Security 2016 - 2021

I was the Security team lead in Intercom’s San Francisco headquarters collaborating with the Legal and Finance teams. I created Intercom’s monitoring infrastructure used for all compliance and security programs. I managed the Security Team starting in 2020 until the role was later relocated to Dublin.

Intercom - Growth 2013 - 2016

I founded Intercom’s Growth team developing features to convert prospects to successful customers. I created Intercom's internal billing system that powered subscriptions, feature provisioning, and commission-based sales compensation.

PageLever 2012 - 2013

I built PageLever Now, a real-time analytics tool for monitoring advertising spend performance on Facebook. Acquired by Unified Social in 2013.

PhoneSys 2011 - 2012

I co-founded a startup based on automating phone-based sales and support flows using data integrations with back-of-house customer systems. We failed to reach product-market fit and ceased operating in 2012.

Noisetor 2015 - 2018

I served as the primary admin and Treasurer of Noisetor, the largest Tor exit node hosted in the United States.

Noisebridge 2014 - 2017

I served as the Treasurer of Noisebridge, a 501(c)(3) non-profit hackerspace located in San Francisco's Mission District.
